Hey Guys Its Me....Lately I've Been Bored With Pirating For My Ds...I Don't See The Fun In Games When I Pirate Them...I Think Im Going To Start Buying All My Games Now Is That A Good Idea?

I do agree that pirating a game seems to make one lose interest in a game sooner.

I myself use piracy as a "try-before-you-buy" method. If you like a game, pay the developer your respects by buying it! It makes me appreciate the game more, for me at least.

yeah, im thinking about just buying all my pokemon games since those are the games i lose most interest.

It depends on how much money you have. I pirate most things because it's cheaper really. I've been buying my Gamecube games for two reasons: I don't have any method to pirate them, and they're pretty cheap, often used for under $10. (Last weekend I bought a perfectly working Metroid Prime that didn't even have a scratch on it for $3!) I finish every single one of these games I buy. Drive to play a game to the end drops massively if you pirate it, so in that way, it's better to buy them.

I pirate a lot of things but I do seem to lose interest in my DS games a lot quicker, but I am only 14, can't get a job yet so yeah, I have no money so pirating DS games is my only option, not to mention I buy my ps3 games and for me they are Really expensive $50-$120, only get to buy 1 or 2 a year, if I bought my ds games, I'd have no ps3 and frankly I prefer PS3 more!

On a serious note, you should always pay for games that deserve it. Say, Final Fantasy, or Last Window, you should pay for those games to support the developer. But games that are basically shovelware.. no.

Also, I'm sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine, can you please type normal? Instead of "Typing Like This. This Isn't Proper. And It's More Annoying Than It Is Cool."

Not to repeat what everyone's already said, but if you can afford it, go for it. I definitely can't at this point, but it can be cool to have a little well-organized collection going of the best games. Then when you're done playing them for good, you can sell or trade 'em and keep on going. Now you've got something to share.

In other words: Buy the games you like, and pirate the bad ones.
