When you're playing Mario Kart double dash with a GC controller but you shift your actual body when you drift or are about to fall off the toad bridge. When you're really immersed in the game and your body moves with the game.

Is there a specific term for the body movement when playing games? Google doesn't bring up anything.

It's simply called Immersion

The lesser version where you move the controller where you are going around a corner is known as handlebar syndrome. I would say this is but an extreme case.
