Hacking Is the internet connection still necessary?

Hi, I am new here. I try to install the HBC and Backup Launcher on my wii. The GBAtemp and all the people here gave me a lot of help. Thanks.

Usually, we need the internet to install Backup Launcher and download something from wii.com. Now, since they have put everything in the zip package.

So any other software still need the internet connection? If no one need it, I am going to block my internet connect to avoid any possible update.

No, I don't. However, I may have agreed the new agreement when i try to initiate the weather channel and the shopping channel after the new agreement released.
