Hacking Is the Acekard Icon Replaceable???

I think he means the icon on the system menu. Like when they replaced the "ak" icon with Danny Phantom.

Do you mean the icon on the system menu? (where you select if you want to use Pictochat, etc.)

The one on the system menu of the DSI will require you to program a NDS file that accesses into the AK 2i NAND and flashes it. If you really want to change it, ask the acekard team for the source code of the 1.4 fix and just flash it to the icon you specified.

If it were that easy, they would've never used the Danny Phantom icon. I'm sure changing the icons of the Acekard 2i on non-DSi DS models and pre-1.4 DSi is entirely possible though.

from what i recall changing the icon causes the loading of a flash linker to fail. the icon is part of the check the dsi is doing.
