Hello,

Last year i bought a new Switch with the firmware 4.1 and made a instantly a NAND Backup. I packed all the files to one with the best setting winrar can offer and got one file wich only has a size of 360mb.
So i'm curious if there went something wrong and the nand.bin files are mostly empty, because i would like to restore my 4.1 Nand.

No, your fine. The NAND reserves about 32 GB but only less space is used. Therefore the compressed file has only 300-600mb if you have few games on your NAND.

Use the correct nand backup instead..

Or rebuild a nand image after getting your biskeys first..

Just restore the correct one.. should be fine, with hekate...make sure to restore the boot0/1 that match the correct nand image,

I already have my correct nand backup, I just don't know if it's still possible to boot back into hekate after making such a mistake as I only have access to a paperclip jig. I'm charging my switch overnight and I'm hoping I can try again tomorrow

RCM is always available....And so is booting into hekate its a payload, hekate can load without even a EMMC(Nand)module in the switch..

Hold power button on switch wait 20 secs.
Get your payload sended ready (Tegra gui) Place jig in the right joycon rail connect cable.
Hit power button 1 time, send payload done back into hekate or any other payload.

Autorcm......
You do know when you upgrade and downgrade autorcm get installed, and its a option in hekate
Autorcm is a sort of fuse burn protection..
helps you run any system version you want.
It also boots to a blank black screen which is were or when u send payloads..
Rather then manual rcm which is jig

Anyway you should or already know so just putting it out there as friendly tips as always only here to help

Took me a few days to get it together, but you are absolutely right! I didn't know that a 20 second long power button press was necessary in some cases! I was able to get it into rcm after holding down the power and volume up buttons for the seconds with the jig inserted and finally restored my switch back to OFW 1.0

Thank You So Much!
