Hacking Is safe to update to Boot9strap 1.3?

I want to know if is safe to update boot9strap and bug reports, crashes or briked 3DS
It is safe, but all it really adds is some more compatibility with ntrboot.
If you wish to update because of OCD (like me XD), just install it with SafeB9SInstaller like usual and enjoy

As for bugs, there are none that anyone knows of because I just released
As for crashes and bricks, don't worry, you won't experience any of that if you play it safe

I've been playing with it for a few hours on my test unit. It doesn't appear to break anything. It does update FATFS to the latest version. Though there's no observable performance difference or anything.

to update i can just run SafeB9SInstaller, don't have to do any other housekeeping or installs? the guide is a bit confusing on this because it seems to involve updating from old Luma 7 as well, which I'm running 8.1.1

You just update boot9strap/boot9strap.firm(.sha) to 1.3 and run the SafeB9SInstaller.firm.

There's no reason to go out of your way to update, though. Its primary purpose is just a compatibility update for ntrboot flashcarts with very small flash space (DSTT).
