Hacking Is my Wii hardmodded?

Hi,
I bought an old generation Wii. First thing I did was update it to 4.3E. I was able to install BootMii in boot2. It can read dvd-r. My cIOS version are:

• cIOS 249 base 56 v10 beta53-alt;

• cIOS 250 base 57 v10 beta52.

USB loaders are on sd card.

I burned a backup game from the 2007 the Galaxy (1) PAL. After booting up Wii the game appears in Disc Channel. Also I read that I should have a problem with this one and I should start it from save because it will freeze. Nothing like that happened. I'm able to play it without a problem.

Do I have a modchip?

Just to clarify. Turns out my Wii is modded.

Why would you want to play a Wii Game via the Disc Channel if you have USB Loaders set up?

I like to launch games from Disc Channel.

But then you would need a mod chip to load games from the Disc Channel.
