Hi,
I was using Emunand 6.2 with SX OS to play with my XCI backups offline (I have nothing installed on the main 7.0.1 NAND so i'm not banned)
I removed my emunand and I don't have any backup on my PC, so I can't recreate any working 7.x emunand for now.

So I want to use atmosphere but I don't want to install any NSP because I don't want to be banned.

Is the layeredFS method still working? So I can play a backup offline without installing any fake tickets/NSP on my main NAND.

What tools should I use for convert a backup to layeredFS use?

Don't go back to layered fs. It's sketchy for backup loading as is not really meant for that and will probably get you banned. I recommend doing this.

1. Create a nand backup of your 7.0.1 sysnand boot0/1
2. Downgrade to 6.2 using ChoiDujourNX
3. Create emunand
4. Restore 7.0.1 clean sysnand boot0/1
5. ???
6. Profit

This is basically correct info, however since you have ran CFW you are likely to be flagged for ban especially if you go online.

Yes it does work still but using that method is more likely to get you banned

Well he can be safe if he didnt go online on his SysNAND when he had CFW. I also have EmuNAND and I ran atmosphere on 7.0.1 and then restored it and went online eshop and all and I am completely fine. Since I also have NSP's installed on EmuNAND. Sure there is a ban risk but the risk will be very low (SLIGHT CHANCE NINTENDO BUSTS YOU)(BAN POSSIBLE).
But Also never use layeredFS, friend of mine got banned and just stick to SX OS and downgrade.

I am using CFW even on SysNAND since a looooooooong time but never installed any illegal files like NSP or HB. The ONLY thing that is installed on my SysNAND is games bought from eshop. I am running HB in airplane mode.
As long as you have NOTHING and never had anything installed, you are safe.
I have 0 fake tickets or non-legit installed tickets on my sysnand

Running CFW for playing legit games won't ban you

That why i'm asking how can I run backup without installing anything

I am going online since more than a year now on my SYSNAND and CFW but only playing legit games

But don't forget to put airplane mode even when you launch HBL

If you are banned you did one of these:
-Install a NSP file (HB, game or even update for a game you didn't buy on eshop, so it's not technically possible for you to have the game installed)
-Ran a HB or game through layeredfs and forgot to put airplane mode
