I've been away from vita scene and sold my 3.60 long time ago, recently i imported Japanese aqua vita
for cheap and arrived on 3.65 should i keep it (heard FW up to 3.68 will be supported in the near future)
is that correct?

We have no way of knowing when 3.68 will be exploited, and even if/when it is it might be like 3.65 where you need to already have had Enso installed in order to update to 3.68 and maintain the exploit.

So, keep it if you feel like waiting for the foreseeable future or you want to play (and pay for) games that require 3.65 or below. Return it/sell it if you really want Enso now.

Yes we do. The Flow's exploit for 3.67 works on 3.68 (the only thing this update fixed was a couple kernel exploits...that were only available on dev kits, not on stock Vita's), and is a full exploit chain (meaning, if you're on OFW 3.68, you can run the exploit).

It's just taiHen, meaning it's not a coldboot hack like Enso so it has to be run after every reboot, but we know it'll work for 3.68 no problem. The only true "con" is it's unlikely Enso support will arrive at all since the exploit that ran with was fixed on 3.67.

EDIT: @OP, it should be noted that 3.65 is the last OFW that can support Enso, so if you want coldboot hacks once The Flow releases his full exploit chain (sometime after September is the latest ETA), then leave your Vita on 3.65. If you don't mind having to reinstall the exploit after each reboot, then you can update to latest if you like. I, personally, would recommend sticking with 3.65.

Cool thanks, i don't mind keeping it on 3.65 since already have 3DS and Switch. any news when 3.65 support will arrive heard it's on Sept ?

May i ask if there's a way to log in to my PSN account and dl my legitimate games without updating my 3.65 system?
back when i used my 3.60 there was a way to spoof it but no idea if that works
Nope, not on 3.60. 3.65 still has access to PSN via spoofing however.

So your choices currently are either update to 3.65 Enso and download your legitimate games, or stay on 3.60 and use NoNpDRM dumps and such.

My OFW is 3.65 and i don't think enso released on it yet (sold my 3.60 last year)

I received a brand new blue slim on 3.65. At the moment, its worth to keep it. Update to the latest IF you have a good digital library, that's what I did. If not, then just wait for the release and just buy physical games.

i'm keeping it on 3.65, enso will not be supported on 3.68 from what i read it'll be tethered hack

Yep, either way. What ever is best for you. Its only the similar concept as PS4 anyway. As said, 3.65 for physical games but if you've got loads of digitals best to update to latest to download from the store.

Oh right, sorry, mixed this thread up with another one I was just viewing

Yeah, without spoofing there's nothing you can do sorry, you're stuck until TheFlow releases the kernel exploit
Was able to log to PSN and download my games without updating, followed this method

wifi settings --> go to your wifi then advanced settings --> set DNS to manual --> set 212.47.229.76 as primary DNS

(great for people who are waiting enso's 3.65 exploit)
