Homebrew is it possible to replace a homebrew icon?

I took a look at what else changed between the original and the modified versions of the cia. Because I used my own N3DSXL to rebuild that "F5A5C974.app" into a new .cia, these are what changed:

• certs.bin
• tmd.bin
• tmdchunks.bin

I tried taking the original WoodR4_DSi.cia and hex edit swapping the modified .app portion. The game gets the same error message as you. I believe there's some type of ticket issue causing that .cia being console specific, so that WoodR4_modified works on mine alone.

Here are the instructions to get that to show up as "Games" for yours:

1. Put a copy of this modified "f5a5c974.app" on your SD card.
2. Go to GodMode9. Highlight yellow select that file by pressing L-shoulder button. Press (Y) to copy to [CLIPBOARD].
3. Press (A) on [2:] SYSNAND TWLN
4. Go to 2:/title/00030004/41464645/content/
5. Press (X) to delete the current 'f5a5c974.app', combo buttons, delete, relock permission.
6. Press (Y) to move or copy path(s) the new one in.
7. Reboot into HOME Menu on the 3DS.
8. At first, it will appear you failed as you'll still see the ak rpg icon.
9. Launch Cthulhu, HOME Menu icon cache management, Clear HOME Menu icon cache.
10. Turn off and then turn on the 3DS. Voila!
