ROM Hack Is it possible to only apply an exefs patch in handheld mode?

For instance some 60fps patches work well with handheld, but when the game is played in docked mode the framerate doesn't seem go much above 30fps. Would it be possible to only unlock the framerate when the game is played in handheld?

Not with exefs patch. Not with cheat.

Well, actually you could tinker with the exefs code and try to add a condition, but this process would involve reverse engineering and asm hacking
