Apple iPhone Jailbreak?

A few questions.

I'm signed up with a AT&T, and just recently got the iPhone 4.

Can AT&T detect if I've jailbroken my iPhone?
If so can I get charged, or have legal issues?
Can I even jailbreak a iPhone 4 on the latest firmware?
If so can I do it on a PC?

Technically, they can deactivate it, but not for having a jailbreak
yes, it is legal as long as you don't pirate apps.

And yes, you can jailbreak the most recent firmware. Use greenpois0n.

To jailbreak on PC use GreenPois0n RC5. Untethered, simple and pretty glitch free. Just get your iPhone into DFU mode then click "Jailbreak". This will work with the latest 4.2.1 firmware (I know because I just did it yesterday on my iPod)
It DOES add an animated boot logo you might not want. To remove it you have to SSH into your devices file system (or use a program like iPhoneBrowser) and delete a file in \usr\bin called animate.

Use limera1n. It is easier than GreenPois0n to my opinion since I never tried GreenPois0n.

redsn0w is another option. It allows you to use a custom boot and/or restore logo as well as some other options. The custom logos are why I choose this over GreenPois0n.

He has an iPhone4 on 4.2.1 neither of those options will give him a simple, untethered Jailbreak...

Correction bro... RC6.1 works with 4.2.1 untethered as u can see below
