If anything I hope this just tanks the cost of the older iPads. Wouldn't mind getting a cheap tablet to watch movies on or something. And there's a few higher end iOS games I wouldn't mind trying.

complete waste of $ this will be it's still got shithouse battery time it still can only play apple apps on it so it's NOT a computer nor can it multi-task so why make it more powerful if all you can do is apple crap on it? overpriced crap i can get a 10" android tablet on ebay for $210 and it could do 10 times the shit this could do!!

On Topic: I've used Ipod touches before, and I have to agree, this is just a bigger version of the two.

I personally think that the extra screen really makes a difference for some people that use their iPhones for multimedia purposes. Movies and games would look much better on the iPad then the iPod Touch.

I may just get one of these. 2 days before my birthday FTW!

It actually has the best battery life out there. There's a lot of very handy apps, far more than the 9 or so Honeycomb tablet apps there are at the moment lol. The iPad is still the best tablet out there, by far, the Xoom costs almost twice as much and can't even do half the stuff the iPad can. Do you even have any experience on either an Android tablet or the iPad? Doubt it.
