That would be real useful for when you're playing a gamecube game and don't want to get your wii controller out. If anyone here has guitar hero, it could be exactly like that. Since guitar hero has already done it, then it shouldn't be that hard I wouldn't think (just an educated guess, no knowledge goes into that statement!)

that's not the wii menu you tard, that menu is on the game disc itself (not the wii) that's why it's in japanese when you play a japanese game

There is no "the system menu". The screen you are thinking of is actually implemented by every software on its own. You'd have to patch every application/game, which is both pointless and nigh impossible.

In the context of my post that doesn't matter, that was the menu being discussed, therefore my point is valid.
