Is anyone working on this feature?

Is it possible or should I just give up and buy a bigger microsd card?

Personally, I play my switch docked 95% of the time, so I'd love to be able to connect a 2TB drive and install NSP directly to that.

I am aware that SX OS can do something with XCI files but that doesn't pertain to me directly.

As far as I know, no one is working on this feature. If you want to be able to launch games from a USB device, you need to use SX OS. If you're using Atmosphere or another free CFW, you need to install NSP files to either your NAND or your SD card.
