Hacking Installing latest game update fpkgs

Hi guys I've installed the base game version of a particular game and it is v1.00.

There are numerous updates available for this game being v1.18, v1.19 and v1.23 - do I need to download and install all three of these updates in succession?

Or can I simply install update v1.23 and it will contain all updates from the previous versions?

Only the latest on PS4 (At least that I'm aware of). The PS3 had incremental updates.
