Just bought a New 3ds XL. It's on 11.4U. I have O3ds XL which is on B9S 11.4E & I don't have any required DS game to do this https://3ds.guide/installing-boot9strap-(dsiware). I can change the region of my O3ds XL to US.


So my basic questions are:

1. Will O3DS XL work to that tutorial?
2. Can I restore my O3DS XL to it's original European Firmware?
3. Can I get legit .cia DS game from rom sites online?

there's no working around purchasing a game from the eShop if you choose the DSiware method. other methods involve hardware or eventual ntrboothax.

eshop will work on an old 3ds but not on a new 3ds

i don't see why it would not work since it's an old 3ds and it thinks your switching to the new model

Region changed consoles cannot system transfer, iirc, so don't bother.
