I'm getting towards my wits end with this thing. I am trying to bulk install some games to my friends Wii U. Can this only be done from an SD card? I have them all in a second USB drive, but the Wii U freaks out when I have two drives installed. I have ~200 GB of data I need to move over

The "two USB drives" function is only used when transfer games from one to another, i.e. when you bought a larger disk and want to transfer them from the old one. You cannot install from USB drive A to B, not even under home-brewed environment like Aroma.

That being said, if you are willing to install Isfshax, then there is a plugin that can "simulate" the first FAT32 partition of your USB drive as SD, so you can copy wup installation files to FAT32 partition from PC fast and then install it using sth. like Wup installer GX2 on the console.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks :)

And the transfer function only work on the same console, i.e. you cannot transfer games from drive A to B and expect it to work on another console. USB drives are encrypted the first time formatting on the console with seeprom.
