I recently bought a WD Passport 5tb and got it setup as a fat32 64k cluster. When I start Wiiflow or USB loader GX the HDD will not initialize. If I have the HDD unplugged and go into USB loader I can then initialize the drive and it works the entire time the Wii U is on, even going into Wiiflow works. Anyone know how to get the HDD to initialize from the start?
Yeah I am using a y cable. I had a different HDD and it initializes fine. then switch to the 5tb and and have to go into hardrive settings on USB Loader to get it to mount. After that works the entire time the Wii is on.
