Hacking Question I'm getting an error trying to load tinfoil?

Also my dongle just died so i need to recharge it before i can try more older builds

Okay after it's recharged try THIS build of tinfoil. Remember to replace the .nro file in sd:\switch\tinfoil.nro

Also try installing one at a time

Okay this may seem weird but i think my dongle broke lol. It's been charging for over 15 mins and says it's finished charging, but when i turn it on, it flashes blue for a second and doesnt turn on. Now i cant even boot into RCM mode wtf

Is that the chinese payload injector? The one that can inject 3 or 4 payloads? Only asking because i have ordered one yesterday lol

Okay i figured it out, i can boot it with TegraRcmGUI and I injected the Atmosphere injector to it on PC, But that kinda sucks since i have to use my PC to boot my switch up all the time. wtf.

Also @Adran_Marit It's still not working using that older tinfoil build :/. What a disaster. What should i do, throw my switch against the wall?

and DL "n1dus" put it to your Switch directory and the *.NSP to the "root" of your SD card.
Start n1dus and try to install the NSP files!

I can't find that file? Are you sure that's how you spell it?

Thanks, that works, but I still want to try tinfoil, so i can be sure the NSP files are safe to install :/

n1dus or dOPUS is using tinfoil and 4xni in one app.
So in a way you are using tinfoil
You can install NSP or XCI and you can convert XCI to NSP all in that app!
Problem is it wont be maintained anymore because the dev vanished

Awesome thanks, maybe he vanished because it still works fine and there's no need to maintain it

The only problem i have now is, is there any other way to boot into rcm mode without my PC? I thought all dongles last forever and not just a few times to boot up :/
Which would suck if i go on a holiday with my switch and i want to play it i cant

You can use your Android Phone or a Jailbreaked iPhone.
I use an URL because i can do everywhere (and my tablet because mi phones are not compatible!)

I don't recommend doing that.

Only thing I can think of is use the files from the reinx.guide site and not the ones they supply
