Black is still the best colour since you don't get a mismatching top screen.

Black and Red are a good match though.
So is Black and Blue.
Nintendo released a black/blue and black/red DSLite a while ago and they looked great.

Actually black is ugly as fuck in terms of matching colours, there's so many shades of black on it that it looks like a McDonalds toy, and the plastic has a glittery sparkle to it. (IMO)

Anyway, I think this white and the black is the top colors for the 3DS.

Still, I'm happy with my black one.
The black looks better in person than the pictures.

I actually wants it. Looks pretty nice.

It looks great I just don't like the black part.

Sadly it has to be there for the 3D effect to work well.
Or does it? I've wondered if the effect works just as well with a matching top lid.

I had a brown skin for my 3DS and the effect worked just fine.

Monster Hunter Tri is functional with a Wiimote/Nunchuck, but it plays like shit.

A lot of you are saying the slider pad "isn't necessary", and while it isn't in terms of a physical requirement of the game, I assure you that there will be plenty of games that won't be enjoyable at all without needed a second analog stick.

A number of people have been raving about the controls for Monster Hunter 3G.

Without the slider-pad.

The touchscreen should work just fine for camera-controls.

Even though I can largely see this happening, I would love to be proven wrong.
