unzip this and place them in your badges folder, I forgot to name them and I think that caused an issue.

I am installing via Anemone3DS, its a new way to manage badges in sub folders.

If you are using GYBT, place these 3 PNG in your badges folder like any other badges. I got them working on my home screen via anemone3ds.

INSTALLING BADGES IN 2024 METHODS:

Anemone3DS is the cleanest, and most efficient way to manage any of your themes and Badges now in one place!

The newest release of Anemone3DS now has Badge support allowing sub folders, Backup Badges folder, Dumping themes, and more.

To install a set of badges with a subfolder, I suggest you backup all your badges first from the dumping menu, by pressing X and navigate the menu.

Once you have backed up your current badges, you should start making sub folders within your Badges folder.

Name the sub folders whatever you like in the Badges folder, and to set an icon find or resize a 48x48 PNG and Anemone uses it as a Menu Icon for your folder. Rename that 48x48 images name to _seticon. You do not have to do this if you are not using subfolders.

You can have I believe 100 subfolders within your badges folder, and 1000 TOTAL badges. Keep in mind larger Badges count for more slots.

If you install the badges without sub folders, it will all show up in one folder through the home menu, Similar to how GYBT did it! Anemone3DS now will ignore any badges over 1000, and will not try and install them once that limit is reached to prevent crashing. Then writes to the EXT DATA, Presto!

Either option, should get your badges installed.

GYTB aka "Give You this Budge" still, and will always be a solid way to install badges!

For anyone who does not already know, GYTB is the previous method of further customizing your console with being able to decorate your home screen with PNGS. It is honestly very fun, and if you do not have it, download it from universal updater or Here, and drag the necessary files to your 3DS to install the CIA.

Before you run the software, make sure you have a badges folder in the root of your SD.

Then simply run GYBT and the app manually goes through every badge you have in that folder and puts it on the screen. At the end it will attempt to write EXT DATA. If it is successful, it will tell you the EXT DATA was written successfully with a message at the bottom of the command line!

Access badges by hitting the top left corner drop down menu on your 3DS home menu!

When downloading Badges from themeplaza, make sure you remove the Preview PNG inside each badge zip file before importing only the PNGs. The Pngs cannot be in a sub folder, they all just go inside the badges folder individually so you can just copy and paste them inside that folder.

The preview image of each is named "preview" and it will crash the software, also the new _seticon from anemone3DS will also crash the software. It can only interpret and read specified sizes for images. GYBT cannot use subfolders, so make sure all your badges you are trying to install are in one folder in your SD card using this method!

I have a request if you’re still doing these, i need 2 badges, 1 is just Mickey Mouse’s head silhouette and the 2nd one is Lakitu from Mario with a camera,I have 2 folders of movies one with just random movies and the other are Disney owned and I can’t find good badges to place on the folders please and thank you!

@PandaPandel Hello love! i hope you're still doing this amazing service? i just recently bought a new 3ds xl and i found a howls moving castle theme i really love but sadly no badges to go with it! so i was hoping you could make some studio ghibli badges for me since i don't have access to a computer at the moment. If possible I'd love for certain characters to be included. No face, chihiro and the soot puffs from spirited away. Totoro and his little friends and the cat bus from my neighbor totoro. Calcifer, markl, howl, Sophie (young and old), the scarecrow, heen, the witch of the wastes and her henchmen from howls moving castle. And anything else you think might go along with those. Sorry if it's a bit much. But i would deeply appreciate it!!

probably should mention this here for those who are unaware, but she is on a mental health hiatus thus themes and badge requests will be halted until further say by her, i do encourage to send love her way as things are rough in these trying times and we all could use some positivity, that said thank you for understanding and i am sure she will be back in time, but it is entirely up to her when that may be.
