Homebrew I hate dpg

I have been trying to convert vids to .dpg with the moonshell tool, however it cuts the end off ll my vids. Any help?

Make sure the file your using are mpg, avi, and wmv.

Nope, the new dpgenc now can convert not just mpg,avi & wmv but also other types like flv, mp4 etc. (so no need for double converting

)
@ts, try not to change the settings, for me dpgenc default settings is the best.
And remember that dpgenc is not a perfect converter.

I did not touch any settings. I just pressed "get youtube" and then let it run.

SUPER rapes your videos to a very poor quality.

Other than that, it's your decoder. Uninstall every codec you have and install the CCCP codec pack.

I use the ImToo DPG Converter, it's nice for everything I need.

Not if you're putting it into .dpg format. only has happened to me when I'm dealing with widecreen movies, etc.

Don't listen to him. Codec packs suck. It's best to install codecs seperatly and only the codecs you need.

I used to use DPGBatch and it worked really well, but now it is not working, it takes too long to convert any video, I didn't change any setting, but I reformated my PC, so now I don't know what da' f*** is wrong, I'll try to reinstall the FDShow and Hali splitter...!!

Can't say I've ever had any problems with SUPER... I've had a lot of experience with it. Probably done about 30 full-length movies without any problems...

Yep. dpgenc is the best.
Also to the OP- have you considered downloading and converting the you-tube videos first with a separate program (maybe a-tube catcher) and then re-converting to dpg with dpgenc?
Sure you'll lose quality, but it's freaking you-tube!

You don't need a seperate program to dl off youtube. Firefox has an add-on that can download .flv videos off any website. It's called "DownloadHelper"

Seriously? When did this happen? I'm on MS 2.05. 2.07's only out now. Guess I won't be upgrading after all.

No i mean if you convert using SUPER for moonshell 2, for some reason, the latest SUPER build makes the sound out of sync. My old videos work (because i never updated SUPER) but i just downloaded the new one, and it was out of sync.

I also had this problem. They say it's the converter, and the one from moonshell 2.07 is said to be working. I'm using the one from moonshell 2.11 beta. Haven't had any problems with it since.
