I cfw'ed a Vita about a month ago, and today I started doing a second one (just for the fun of it).

Since last month, there are several applications I can't find anymore on VitaDB, such as Autoplugin for example. I read that the most recent version caused problems, so maybe that's why it was removed?

So, is there a way to install plugins without Autoplugin (I read about the config.txt method, but I don't know what it is)? Or, is there a similar tool available?

Any advice or tutorial would be great!

yes, using the config.txt method you mentioned. remember: skprx (kernel plugin); suprx (user or normal plugin). I think a lot of suprx require specific games be tied to it.

# This file is used as an alternative if ux0:tai/config.txt is not found.
# For users plugins, you must refresh taiHEN from HENkaku Settings for
# changes to take place.
# For kernel plugins, you must reboot for changes to take place.
*KERNEL
ur0:tai/kuio.skprx
ur0:tai/nonpdrm.skprx
ur0:tai/nopsmdrm.skprx
ur0:tai/storagemgr.skprx
# ur0:tai/minivitatv.skprx
# ur0:tai/ds3.skprx
ux0:app/PSPEMUCFW/sce_module/adrenaline_kernel.skprx
# henkaku.skprx is hard-coded to load and is not listed here
*main
# main is a special titleid for SceShell
ur0:tai/download_enabler.suprx
ur0:tai/henkaku.suprx
ur0:tai/nolockscreen.suprx
ur0:tai/notrophymsg.suprx
ur0:tai/pngshot.suprx
ur0:tai/shellbat.suprx
*NPXS10015
# this is for modifying the version string
ur0:tai/henkaku.suprx
*NPXS10016
# this is for modifying the version string in settings widget
ur0:tai/henkaku.suprx
*ALL
ur0:tai/vsh.suprx

Example like this Suprx goes under the *main line, and Skprx they goes under Kernel, skprx require restart for them to take effect. Certain plugins needs to go in certain orders for it to work properly.

I already have one running modded Vita, can I just copy the tai folder from one Vita to the other?

(does the tai folder contain all the info + necessary files ?)

Shouldn't be a problem as long you have it configure it correct, I normally leave my config in the ur0:tai folder not ux0:tai.

Ok I'll give it a try!

About the order in which to install plugins, is there a tutorial about this somewhere?

Just put skprx plugin under kernel, and suprx under main, only one I know that need to be above like SD2Vita are like 0syscall6

@Hayato213 : thanks a lot, I copied the tai folder to the new Vita (after all the cfw install though) and when I rebooted it was exactly like the first system, custom boot screen, all the works!!
Amazing help.
