Hacking How to format Micro SD card for use in R4

How and with what tool should i format my micro SD card so i can use it with R4?

I hawe 2 micro SD card's, one is 1GB and other is 4GB... and what option to chose, FAT or FAT32?

If it's an original or 1.1 R4 you can't use SDHC so only 2gigs
also use this tool
(use these options : FORMAT TYPE - FULL (Erase ON) : FORMAT SIZE ADJUSTMENT - ON)

No, it's not original, it's R4-III card... it can read SDHC

Then you can use both of them and just use the format tool . By the way , R4-III card is working great on your DSi ?

i know it is a really old post, but what tool is that? i cant use my r4 without formatting it with the rigth tool. i know it was workimg fine before i change sd card

It's just a formatting .exe.
