Can anyone tell me if it's possible to downgrade from the latest Nintendo update without bricking my Wii?

Yeah, as of now, there is no way to downgrade your Wii's firmware if you updated it with the newest shop channel update firmware.

Don't worry, these extremely talented Wii hackers will find a way to patch something to allow homebrew to work.

I've been hearing conflicting results using the cIOS downgrader some say it works others say it gives them an error

Some say it gives them a black screen and does absolutely nothing, but restart the wii. Am I the only one with this error?
