Hacking how to downgrade cios?

i'm tired of rev14 DL resetting my wii BS

yes, sure.

anything from r11 and above is save for the newer generation wii's meaning overwrite 14 with 13 is no issue at all.
(if you really want that, personally i have the best results with r14 in combo with hermes cios (222/223)..
 
I always get error 1035 when I try to downgrade. After deleting IOS249 it works thou. Is that a good way to do it?

only for cIOS versions which are not part of 'base wii IOS's' it is safe to delete first.

In general, never do this with normal ios's

That is fine but only delete files that you KNOW are not relevant for the console to run.

is that file for 13a or b? also i have a 1st generation wii.
 
To downgrade a cIOS, you need to delete IOS249 before manually. Only delete the cIOS, never delete IOS! Oh, and of course you need an IOS with trucha bug to install a cIOS again. (and most old cIOS installers, require this to be IOS36 if no cIOS is installed)
