I just got a DSi from birthday money and am selling my DS Lite. Trust me on this though: If you can still play your DS Lite then just wait till Christmas for the DSi. It will make the whole experience more satisfying. And make you seem like less of a douche.

Dude, just wait! You'll have to ds's, one reasond to keep it is if you update "your newly bought" dsi with a new firmware, you'll not be able to use your flashcart... so you'll need a normal ds/lite to fix that problem
