How to block system updates? Already disabled automatic downloads.

Anything else I can do?

If you mean what is the dns, I don't know. My ps4 hasn't been online in years.

So, if a console is connected to internet, it’s possible to be updated even if i close the updates? I don’t understand how it works.

do not download system updates either doesn't work or it's not what people think it is. updates will still download whether you like it or not. if you turn off the internet, nothing should download. I mean how can it?

You can factory reset if it download the system update but if it wasn't installed yet.

with 4.55+, sony added the ability to delete updates, but I'm still not sure if it includes completed updates or not. I've heard that both are correct. just go over to notifications, and delete it from there.

Thanks, i have ps4 pro with 8.52, heard there is a small possibility for a jailbreak to come. I think the best thing for my console will be to just never connect to the internet ever again.

Yea best is to leave it off the internet, but don't keep your hope up, 6.72 tooks two years after 5.05 release, so no ETA, don't keep your hope up.

yeah, just turn off the internet in network settings. that would probably be your best option.
