reasonably safe. the only real risk is cbhc. if you brick the virtual wii, there's a way to repair it from the wii u side. as for cbhc, if you brick, you have to use a teensy 2.0++ to get it back. the wii u has no safeguards for a corrupted nand, which is kinda fucked up since it updates automatically. seems like a recipe for disaster imo.

(as long as you aren't using cbhc)
