During the Conference, Reggie said that the 3DS is going to have more launch Support than any other console. Therefor, how many games do you think that will be.
Following are a few number from previous launches in America as comparision:

DS: 11
Wii: 21
Gamecube: 12
Gameboy Advance: 15
Playstation 2: 29
Playstation 3: 17
PSP: 16
Xbox: 13
Xbox 360: 18

28 for me.

Edit: If there's biggest launch ever, I guess 37.

20-40 games seems plausible. Just because Nintendo says it will come with more launch games than any other console ever has before doesn't mean it actually WILL.

lol im going to say 43 launch titles...i know that sounds like a lot but theres still a lot of time until the 3DS is released and i'm sure a lot of developers will be making new games for it from now til release.

I say 20 of them will be avail at launch the rest will be released over time until other devs are ready to release their games.

Im pretty sure nintendo gave the dev kits to these companies first because they are known of their level of quality that they get when someone goes to buy one of ninty's handhelds.

So those along with the first party and second party releases are sure to make it a successful launch and probably successful first year.

11 - 20 seems the most plausible. Anymore and they will have very few games to release later on in the year.

I'd say 10-20 launch games. Not that it really matters; it's all about the quality of the games. The DS had a fair amount of launch titles, but none of them were really that good. Super Mario 64 DS was the best of them, and that was a remake.

They could easily have 40+ if its filled with crappy 3rd party games
But based on E3 the amount of Good games available at launch is more then i recall any other console getting
