How do i softmod an og xbox with a memory card

I have a original Xbox memory card and I have a reader to plug it into my PC but when I plug into my PC my PC will not recognize it and I tried to use xplorer 360 the one that's in the guide and xplorer 360 can't even detect the memory card I have tried using it in Linux and Linux doesn't detect the memory card either they want to know how to?

My pc runs windows 10

You need XP because the driver only works on XP.

Gotten it to work on Win 7 before.
