Hacking How do I erase an ISO from a disc?

Honestly, you should be buying DVD-Rs in bulk if anything. You can get 100 decent DVD-Rs for just over $15 at NewEgg. Not half bad at all.

As UrkeytaY said...just pop it in the microwave for a few seconds. If you want to be super sure that the iso is gone, put the disc in a bowl of paperclips and petrol then put it in the microwave. There shall then be no more iso on the disc...

Wrapping it in aluminum foil always seems to work best for me. Also allows you to increase the microwave time to about 25 seconds in order to perform a more assuring format.

No. You can only write to DVD-R disks. Once the data is written to it, it's permanent. Your only option is to purchase more disks to write to. Use the disk for the info you wrote on it. If that disk doesn't work, or sucks, or whatever, just toss it and use a new disk.

Just buy a new disc and pretend it's the old disc. You have to pretend pretty hard but it's possible. You have to make the disc itself believe.

I only found this because I was searching for Animal Crossing (it appears midway through page 2) and I couldn't resist reading this thread to completion. I feel the best way to 'erase' it is to just swap it with a new disc and don't tell anyone...

I don't see what the big deal is using another disk, you seem reluctant to use that same disk

If you are really bored, try some of the methods on the first page

There are programs that will let you delete the image possibably some possibly free ones. (idk if they really work i have only seen them) But in the future you will need more disk anyway so i would recommend buying more DVD-R's. (don't buy RW's supposedly they screw up your wii laser after a bit)
