Hacking How can I install saltysd?

I have the "secret file" but idk how to install saltysd

After installing the "secret file" create a folder named SaltySD in the root of the sd card, download the mods and place them there

Where are you placing the mods? It should be something like this (supposing its a texture mod for a fighter)
SaltySD/smash/fighters/(place mod in here)
Or if the download included a SaltySD folder just place it in the sd

How would I install and use modded stages?

There are some stages that for some reason they don't work, i installed 3 stages only 1 worked
It should be
SaltySD/smash/stages/(mods in here)
Im not sure thou, i don't have my sd card right now

First of all: don't use the Secret File. It's very obsolete. Find either, in order on importance: Smash-Selector (rom hack section, Luma3DS only) or a 1.1.6 SaltySD file.
Textures are saltysd/smash/model/fighter/(fightername)

When you say 1.1.6 saltysd file I have a SaltySD1.1.6-USA.cia from that iso site

If you're using Smash Selector you need to use an unmodified update file.
