hi so I'm going to buy a switch bundle in May!, I was looking at my "favorite" (sarcasim here) store gamestop's website was wondering if this bundle has the exploitable tegra chip https://www.gamestop.com/nintendo-s...blue-and-neon-red-joy-con-zelda-bundle/153257 any feedback appreciated
It's my understanding that ninty hasn't yet rolled out the tegra replacement (or even completed design). Therefore all switches in the wild should have the exploitable chip.

From an interview april 9th with sciresm

[GBAtemp] Can you see Nintendo releasing Switch hardware revisions in the future to try and fix this?

Yes, they're currently in the process of doing so with a new SoC called "Mariko". I expect this will be a "silent revision", where newer units will start being sold using
the newer hardware without any special marketing.

Link to said interview https://gbatemp.net/threads/an-interview-with-a-switch-hacker.500913/

It's clear from this that they have not released mariko yet. It will be big news when it hits.

However it may also be unclear and go disguised if they change nothing on the box and exterior of the console so no one could report if they actually had the new unit without even knowing.

I bet their next triple A bundle will most likely bring the new one and for a few time ppl might not realize if it looks all the same.

The new unit would have to have firmware 5.0.0 to support the new revision.
