Homebrew Homebrewing in 11.4

Hi!
So I'm basically a newbie if it comes to homebrewing. Untill 11.4 I had used soundhax but as many of you know it was patched. This leads me to my question, how do you homebrew in 11.4? I tried finding something on Smealums page but every method mentioned there either requires an already homebrewed ds (lol) or an older patch of the system. I'll gladly accept any kind of tips, be it a working method of homebrewing or downgrading the system. All help appreciated.
