To use gateway you'll have to be able to launch the gateway menu and i think i saw in an earlier reply of yours you tried that and it didn't work.

Maybe you've already tried the steps in here but try installing rxTools (follow steps for 4.5 and with a browser but no ds flashcart):https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-installing-rxtools-custom-firmware-3ds-and-2ds.390867/

If it doesnt work, ds flashcards cost like $10 so wpnt break the bank.

Sorry maybe i'm a bit late but if you are on system Ver . 4.5.0-10U-E-whatever you could use this QR code (you have to get the Code.Bin for installing the DS exploit [rxtools-bin renamed to code.bin should work])

Don't forget to erase all browser data before start
