Hacking Homebrew Black Screen on loading

Hey guys I know there are several about this but I cant find quite what my prob is?
Last weekend got my daughter Skylanders and got the dreaded update disc when putting the disk in so thought it best to reformat my 4.3e (and update) then re-hack using letterbomb and ios dx! All was well and playing via USB loader GX until yesterday and another Skylanders Swap Force game arrived so opened USB loader Gx and loaded the game to my HDD. All seemed well until I tried to open HBC. Arggg Blank black screen?
Have tried many times to use letter bomb after removing HBC but still no joy.
Just started to get black screen flashes while in USB loader too (Screen going black in a blink)?

Well thats a surprise I was sue that one of you guys would have an answer by now?

First question did you not install priiloader? You can use that tool to block disc updates. You will never receive prompts. So the disc update removed the HBC? You reinstalled and it went crazy?

ModMii, is there anything it can't do? Seriously hadn't noticed the HBC fix within it. Though I've never had a HBC issue so that's probably why.

I had installed priloader but still had the disc update come up.
Then When I started getting the Black screen when trying to startup HBC. Then started getting black flashing screen on the start page. Factory reset then request Modded but still had the black flashing and black screen when trying to open HBC? Have now been using a spare Wii whlke trying to figure out what was wrong as thinking it may have been the Wii. I will try your surgestions this comming weekend and get back here if or not either work?
