Hi everyone, finally decided to register after lurking for a while!

I've been following a lot of the discussions around PC handhelds, frontends, and emulation setups here. I recently got so frustrated trying to navigate standard Windows with a joystick on my own setup that I actually started coding my own controller-native Game & Media launcher to fix the problem.

Still ironing out the bugs as a solo dev, but I'm excited to finally join the community, jump into the frontend discussions, and see what everyone else is tinkering with for their couch setups.

Cheers!

Hey man, so happy you joined!

A new frontend for windows is something everyone needs but don't know they do. I have been using appetizer it's old and ugly but it still more useful than everything out there and works on every version of windows. https://appetizer.cozic.net/
maybe you want to use some source code from it and make something actually cool .

WELCOME TO THE TEMP!!!

Thanks so much for the reccomendation, I will deff check it out, as for my project I've been working on it solo for around 3 years so I'm pretty late stage with it & enjoying what I've created for myself, iive found it so much easier to stay motivated when the primary motivation is to solve something that's genuinely annoyed me in my own experiences with windows for years & then finally share with with others that feel like I do, Im excited by the advancements in Windows handhelds particularly but I think when it comes to navigation & UI it's so much more important to get that right on those & I'm glad to see the handheld market improving, but it's slow lol, I'll be seeking testers soon hopefully so keep an eye on my posts if that something interests you ☺️

Thanks again.
