Homebrew Question Help with mupen core on Retroarch

Hey guys,

Anyone been able to get the mupen64 core working?

Literally every time I load it I crash and get the Atmosphere logo where you have to press the volume button to reboot to payload.

I've installed the retroarch NSP forwarder, used the retroarch config files provided, renaming roms to have shorter names, tried both fat32 and exfat and I'm kinda running out of options.. I'm finding it impossible to launch any n64 rom, same with ppsspp

PSX and others like snes and gba are working fine.

Any help would be appreciated, wanna play ocarina lol

If you are on SXOS - Good luck. If you are on Atmosphere, Launch a game or app while holding "R" this will give you "Full Ram Mode" Then use the following core

If you are on SXOS - Good luck. If you are on Atmosphere, Launch a game or app while holding "R" this will give you "Full Ram Mode" Then use the following core

look in anyone stands override key and then you must enter !R into it then normal games launch with pressing R and HBL when not R pressed

Please correct me if I'm wrong (I'm new to switch hacking lol, so not that familiar with the terms)

I did Google to try and work out what you meant..

But does this have anything to do with FW version? If so I'm on 7.0.1 if that helps

Since Atmosphere 0.8.6, editing ini is no longer required. Just holding "R" works.

I think I was just using the wrong core, the link you provided made it work straight away. Thank you
