So, i have various people reporting to me that after "deleting" The Homebrew Channel they are not able to run the hackmii installer again because it gets stuck on the splash screen, some of them have the press 1 to continue but the wiimote is unresponsive, what i dont know if the hackmii installler is STUCK or what else is going on. I can confirm that this ONLY happened to people who previously hacked their vWii but for some reason deleted the homebrew channel... any clues?

I was thinking of replacing the boot.elf with some other app that magically could "fix" the problems, or i dont know allow me to install the Homebrew Channel without the need of the hackmii installer, any clue?

I googled your problem and this is from the first search result:
You could see if there is a log file on your SD card, it may tell something about why it freezes.
Make sure to wait long enough though. It takes quite a while for the message to show up.
The file to search for should be named Installer.txt or something like that.

Thank you but I figure it out on my own... If anyone is interested, I took the boot.dol from ModMiiLite and rename it to boot.elf, placed it in the root of the sd card, ran wuphax and launched the Mii Channel, that opened the ModMiiLite... Changed the IOS to 236... If you don't have that one, use IOS 251.. and then installed the IOS58.wad with the wad manager... Make sure you get the IOS58 for vWii and for your specific region...

After that I exit and replaced the boo.elf with the one from hackmii installer and proceeded to install the actual Homebrew Channel with Mii Channel, that makes it works! Then proceed with the full d2x alt v10 cios installation and ios 236 install and ios 80 install.

That worked for me.

Hope it helps someone in the future.
