i havent used my switch in a while.
(i had kosmos in it.. imagine)
firmware 9.1
i decided to start over, clean atmos and sigpatches
none of my computers will detect the switch (except tegra on start)
By no detection, i meant not even the Ding.
tried 3 different cables, my main pc and my work laptop.
some ports might report "uknown usb device (Device descriptor request failed)"
i figure, well, maybe a FW upgrade will help? so i tried 9.2
choidujourNX will crash on checking BIS protection, but the flag file is already there.
any attemps to install an nsp using the network (NUT+tinfoil) will fail too.
i could be missing something. i used this guide https://switch.hacked.us/extras/reinstall/ and added the hbmenu.nsp and hbgshop install.
both computer have win10 1909
i got zadig ready to install the driver.. whenever the switch decides to show up

funny story.. took the cable out.. back in .. out.. back in.. out back in.. worked (Recognized as GoldLeaf.. i had gold leaf in the moment)
i feel something i wrong here..
btw i cant upgrade yet

When you took the cable out, in, out, in, did you remember to shake it all about before putting it in the third time?

Edit: run GoldLeaf before you connect the PC.
