Okay, so yesterday i updated a 3ds from 4.3.0 to 9.2.0, so i could install b9s, everything went fine. The problem came when i tried to download Smash and play it, it doesnt run. I have to force the turning off of the console everytime.
The problem is that it only freezes when im trying to use the updated 1.1.7 version of smash. If i use the oldest version it does work, but i want the newest.

Ive heard that i can update the console to the most recent version (the 11.5.0_38) and keep the games and the fbi and freeshop. But my question is, will i be able to play smash if i do that? or will it keep freezing? What is the solution for the freeze? What should i do? since i also want to download pokemon moon but it only runs on higher versions from the 9.2.0 sistem

The device already has the b9s and luma if someone asks.

Because v1.1.7 needs newer fw then 9.2

If you have luma and b9s on your system, you are able to update safely. What exactly is keeping you on that version atm?

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It can act as a swap drive but that isn't more RAM, it's slooow.
