Hacking [HELP] R4iDs 3DS update card check fail

Hi all,
I bought my rev c R4i 3DS on nds-card.com SO I assume its a legit card, but when trying to run the update pacth from my 3ds or old dsPhat, I get cardcheck FAIL. Does any one know what I am doing wrong, or if there is a way to override/fix this problem.

is the r4i 3ds rev c from nds-card.com fake?

And to give further info, It has the RTS logo on the card, has a 'C' on the visible part of the board, and has a dorasu icon when I got it and still does.

No they didn't. They released a video of the update working for them.

make sure you are updating the card with the
"R4iGold_3DS60_Patch_NDSi_3DS.nds"
the other file is for cards that have been bricked

I actually used that first, tried both in the end, but both have fail at card check section of the lower screen.

Hmm, I ordered mine from NDS-Card.com and it works perfectly.
They have REALLY great customer service, so if you contact them, they might send you a new one (if it's not too long since you bought your card).

When I tried to update my R4i Gold 3DS RTS's Wood (a few days before Nintendo released 3DS firmware 6.0.0-X), I messed it up (without realizing it was my fault) and it stopped working. So I emailed NDS-Card.com and they sent me a new one without even having me send in the broken one to make sure it was really broken.

Well later it turned out the "_RPG" folder I used was from Wood 1.60 but the DS Menu bat file was from Wood 1.57 and after using the correct files, it works perfectly and now I have another R4i coming in the mail that I don't need.

Mine updated perfectly to 6.0.0-11 so maybe yours just had a defect.
