[HELP] Metal Gear Rising:Revengeance errors

I don't know if this is the right section to ask but I bought MGR:R on Steam yesterday since it's 75% off and it just won't load. It shows that it's starting on Steam, then says syncing, and nothing. I installed DirectX9 and ran the DirectX web installer from Microsoft (which had some errors, I can provide the log if needed). If I try to run it as administrator I get an error about d3dx9_43.dll being missing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I have since uninstalled and reinstalled the game but to no avail. Help is still needed!
