Hi there. I am following this tutorial: http://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial...ncluding-emunand-coldboot-cia-manager.405589/

However, I am stuck at this step:
  • You will be in Homebrew Launcher now. Scroll down to PastaCFW and start it. This will bring up your home menu again, but with Pasta patches applied, meaning you can install unsigned .cia files now.
  • Repeat the steps to get into Homebrew Launcher, open FBI and install the .cia of FBI. Now FBI is in your SysNAND.
  • This is necessary so that it gets copied over to EmuNAND in the following step. If for any reason you don't have FBI in your EmuNAND at the end, look at the Beginner's Advice at the end of the tutorial for a solution.
The second step seems quite vague. When I open up FBI, I have several options. For example, to switch the download destination, etc. Should I switch the download destination from SD Card to sysnand to install FBI directly to sysnand? Sorry if this is a noob question, but I know that installing things to sysnand directly can brick a 3DS and I just want to be safe. Thanks in advance, guys!

you need to install to "sd". the "nand" destinations is used ONLY when dowmgrading sytem titles like system settings or web browser.
Nand is also used for dsi games I believe but yea anything else is sd

Thanks I appreciate it. I noticed the option was there in other tutorials (not this one), and I wanted to be careful. Now I know why I would install to sysnand. Thanks in advance, buddy. :)
