Gaming HELP firefox bookmarks gone

I just downloaded Firefox3 rc3 and now my bookmarks are gone. There are bookmarks but only my old ones from about a year ago.
Please help

I reinstalled firefox 2 and it worked but... i cant find the book mark file its using i only found 2 file the old one and some blank one. so... I exported this one but then i read that firefox 3 uses json files? how do i get it to be a json file

backups are located in your documents and settings "your username" mozilla/ firefox folder.
