So I wanted to try the Famicom only game Holy Diver on my N8. I do not know whether the N8 is a clone or not , so I'm going to err on the side of caution and say that it is (the guy who sold it to me said that it was official, but the price and the fact that it did not come from an official reseller kind of points in the other direction).
Regardless, trying to play the game gives me some glitched graphics and, well, that's it (even though the N8 menu states that it's compatible and I'm using a goodNES version so it's unlikely to be a bad dump). I've tried using nesmapperprogram (NES Mapper Reader/ ROM Fixer /ROM Splitter 1.0) to look at the header, but it can only recognize the game when the Extended iNES Header Format Mappers box is checked.
So can anyone tell me if it's just a header issue, or if I'm shit outta luck?
