Homebrew Help converting save epsxe to wiisxr using memmanager

I'm trying to carry my Tomb Raider 3 save over from epsxe to Wiisxr. I found out through google wiisxr uses bleemcast memory cards (.mcd) and I even made one in game on Wiisxr and used memmanager to copy the files from my epsxe memory card to the .mcd card. Everything looks normal, I overwrite the save and confirm in memmanager that they're a match but when I get to Wiisxr the game says there are no Tomb Raider 3 saves. Just thought I'd ask if maybe someone had any other ideas of how to get the save to work? Someone on in an older thread for Wiisxr said this exact method should work for wiisxr, but it doesn't work for this game at least. I put it in the Wii U section because I have it forwarded on my Wii U menu although it's technically a Wii emulator.

I've tried memmanager 1.3 then the new 1.4 but same problem.
