Gaming Help calculating the odds

Replaying the PSP version of the original Final Fantasy on my Vita and I achieved something pretty rare. I'd like to know precisely HOW rare though. And no matter what I type into google all I get on this subject is links to gambling websites because it seems all human society has collapsed. So here's the skinny;

- Got the rare 'super boss' War Mech to spawn. I'm told the odds are 3/64 but it still took me over an hour.
- Got a pre-emptive strike on him. Apparently the odds of that are 25% but I'm not convinced that's accurate.
- He dropped the rare Genji Armour on the first attempt. Reportedly a 2% drop rate.

I don't know how to maths, so what are the odds of all that happening together, in layman's terms?

If it is what it says there then you just multiply across, though that would depend upon how you looked in the first part (if it is 3 over 64 for any one battle then spending 1 hour to get say 50 battles first attempted/fled from it changes things).

In reality though stats in such things are a game by game basis and few people properly look into it all at code level, and internal percentage chances are a work of fiction most of the time too.
